Heart Evangelista and her mom Mrs. Cecile Ongpauco are reportedly involved in a feud with Marian Rivera.The two Kapuso stars, who are both involved in Regal Film's remake of the movie "Temptation Island", had a tension during the shoot at Paoay, Ilocos Norte when Marian overheard Heart telling the other stars that her boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga looks like Marian's boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.
Marian reportedly got jealous but the two were able to patch things up before they flew back to Manila.
Heart even belied the rumor on twitter saying: “Let’s not make a big fuss. Marian and I are okay. Showbiz is showbiz so, Heartworld, wag na tayo mag-away-away.”
But it seems like her mom Cecile is all set to fight and not keen in putting the issue to rest. According to Mario Bautista's report at People's Journal yesterday, Mrs. Ongpauco scream at Marian and said “Stay away from my daughter!” when the “Amaya” star humbly approach Heart to say goodbye upon their arrival at Manila airport last Monday, June 13. Not just than, Heart's mom, who even bring along 8 bodyguards, also said some bad things about Marian, at the top of her lungs, that made Marian cry.
Raymond Gutierrez who is close to both Marian and Heart even revealed in “Showbiz Central” last Sunday that Marian and Heart are currently feuding while shooting Temptation Island's remaining scenes in Paoay, Ilocos Norte.
There are reports also that Heart is getting insecure with Marian who is getting the best attention from the staff, crew and fans who usually gather to watch the shooting of the movie.
“Kasi, kahit saan magpunta ang cast ng ‘Temptation Island’, si Marian talaga ang mas pinagkakaguluhan. Maski sa airport pa lang, may grupo ng basketball players na nakasabay sila, si Marian talaga ang pinagkalipumpunan para magpa-picture.”
Jealousy or not, sign of insecurity or not, or merely a publicity for the movie, this rumor hopefully helps the movie peak at the box-office.
