Well knowned for her carefully crafted show themes, the focus of Betsey Johnson Fall 2007 was a School of Charm.

The show opened as several models dressed up in maids costumes strutted down the catwalk with dust brooms in hand - dusting as they go.

We just loved the high waisted shorts that were featured throughout Betsey Johnson Fall 2007 collection.

Black high waisted shorts, black opaque tights, toped by a silky pink top and black jacket was one of our favorities.

Another high waisted shorts combo was featured in grey and black, with black opaque tights and a black shirt with large front tie - great for the fall cocktail set or the dance floor.

A little black mini dress with layered skirts, reminded us of the 20s flapper look and looked great on the catwalk .

Betsey Johnson - this 65 year old grandmother can still do a great cartwheel down the catwalk.

Still beautiful and looking like a flower child, Betsey Johnson is one of our favorite designers.

Although this year's fall collection was supposed to represent the more mature side of Betsey, the collection features some sexy outfits including hot pants, and those ties and big bow ties that were turning up at many designer fall collections.

On the catwalk, Lydia Hearst played the part of Dorothy eased on down the catwalk in a layered in blue and white checkered mini dress with an over sized tennis racket bag and a course - those sparkling, glittering red shoes.

And, a course there was the good witch of the north Glenda played by Amanda Lepore.

Male models worn leather belts shirts, symbolic of the S&M clubbing scene, which reinforces the notion that these outfits were inspired or inspired the downtown dance scene.

Summing up the whole show, brought to you in traditional dance club black light, was a t-shirt wore by Traver Rain saying - "We're not in Kansas Anymore".

An, indeed we are not in Kansas any more.

Bill Blass - Michael Voilbracht designs for Bill Blass fall line are simply elegant.

From suits to gowns, to those sexy fall cocktail dresses, the name Bill Blass line represents class.

Unlike some of the other designer, most of the dress lengths were just above the knee.

Marc Bouwer - Not only does the Marc Bouwer collection bring back the retro chic Hollywood look, but his stance on fur is also refreshing.

A projection at the beginning of his show clearly stated "ALL FUR HAS BEEN SIMULATED TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT".

Baby Phat Fall 2007 Collection

Rising hemlines, rising waistlines and big neck bows or bow ties, these seem to be the prevailing trends in many designers Fall 2007 collections.

The Mod look of the 60s - 70s and the flapper look of the roaring 20s, have inspired and are embellished in many of the collection themes.

Over the next few days, we will be focusing on some of our favorite fall collections, and yes the sexy classic retro glamour look is IN for the fall.

Baby Phat Fall 2007 collection was set to the theme "To Russia With Love".

It's marvelous what an over sized fur hat; a red see through pleasant blouse can do for a pair of jeans.

The fur hat and fur trimmed knee high boots serve as a frame for the beautiful micro mini dress in velvet.

Celebrities attending the Baby Phat show included Britney Spears, Russell Simmons, Alicia Keys, Vivica Fox, Nicky Hilton, rapper Remy Martin, Ice-T and wife CoCo.
