Young Pinay Diva Arisxandra Libantino Axed from Britain's Got Talent

9-year-old Arisxandra Libantino, who is now being tagged as "young diva" after she wowed the three judges and audience through her wondrous rendition of the song "And I Am Telling You" by Jennifer Hudson during her Britain's Got Talent audition at Birmingham England, has been axed from the show.

The young Pinay diva from Nottingham, UK got 3 "yes's" judges David Hasselhoff, Michael McIntyre and Amanda Holden.

"Are you really 9 years old?" Hasselhoff asked Libantino after her performance. "You are the best singer we have had on the show. You are so sweet. You owned that song. You channelled the diva. Great job." he added.

Holden, on the other hand, commented: "You have the biggest set of lungs ever for someone so small. I can’t believe it. You are a little diva in the making."

Libantino, who now hailed as "Mini-SuBo" (or young Susan Boyle), also got an standing ovation from the audience. Her story was even published in major news websites in UK even before the show aired its premier episode. But why removing her from the show? Her audition video was not even shown. What went wrong?

Local media reports that this decision might be due to "lack of time" in the series, adding that not all auditions are shown on television.

Her parents Aristotle Libantino and Elma Libantino, a native of Nueva Ecija, Philippines, were so disappointed by what happened.

"We're confused.

"I don't know what to say. I was there and she had a great audition, even the [TV] crew said that. Most of them knew her, and they said she was good. We don't know what happened.

"We're disappointed." exclaimed Aristotle.
